Assign Document Ownership
When documents are added to a project for revision, they are initially assigned to the recipient of the package. If they should be assigned to a different person, you can do that if you have been assigned to the Project Owner or the Document Controller role.

To assign ownership of one document:

Open the project for which you want to change document ownerships as described in Open Projects.

In the navigation bar, click the Documents icon .
The Documents page appears and lists the documents that have been uploaded.

Filter the list to show only the documents in the Compliance Check and For Routing states as described in Find Documents.

Click the number of the document to which you want to assign ownership.
The Document Details page appears.

In the Properties toolbar, slick Assign ownership.
The Assign ownership dialog box appears.

Select the name of the person to whom you want to assign the document and click Assign.
The page refreshes to show the assignee's name in the Assigned to property.
To assign ownership of multiple documents:

Open the project for which you want to change document ownerships as described in Open Projects.

In the navigation bar, click the Documents icon .
The Documents page appears and lists the documents that have been uploaded.

Filter the list to show only the documents in the Compliance Check and For Routing states as described in Find Documents.

Add the documents to the clipboard to which you want to assign ownership as described in Add Documents To the Clipboard.

Open the clipboard view as described in View the Clipboard.

In the toolbar, click the Menu icon .

Click Assign ownership on the menu that appears.
The Assign ownership dialog box appears.

Select the name of the person to whom you want to assign the documents and click Assign.
The page refreshes to show the assignee's name in the Assigned to column.
