Feature Toggles

A feature toggle is used to configure an application depending on a customer's subscription level or unique needs. Most feature toggles can be changed per customer via a Support request. However, feature toggles related to the Meridian Cloud Business and Meridian Cloud for Life Sciences modules require special subscriptions.

All Tenant Administrators for your account will receive an email notification if a feature toggle has been enabled or disabled for your Tenancy by an Accruent Platform Administrator.

If you do not want to receive email notifications when these changes occur, reach out to your Accruent representative.

General

Feature Toggles

NativeFileViewer	Native File Viewer	Enables the ability to view document content using the AutoDesk Forge platform as an additional option for content viewing.
AccruentCentralAuth	Accruent Central Authentication	Enables an additional Single Sign-on option when logging into Meridian Cloud. This feature toggle is only relevant if you have multiple Accruent products.
ConfigurationCopy	Configuration Copy	Enables the Configuration Copy functionality for the following record types: Document properties This export also includes property sets and document number syntax. Document types Expertise Issue reasons Project types Template management
CloudPublisherSubscription	Subscription to the Meridian Cloud Publisher	Enables Cloud rendering profiles for Meridian Enterprise customers. This enhancement allows Meridian Enterprise customers to make use of the elasticity of the Meridian CloudPublisher. Portal

Feature Toggles

ProjectRepository	Project Repository	Enables project capabilities in Portal. This is a legacy setting and it is enabled by default. If the FormalPackages feature toggle is disabled, this feature toggle is enabled.
FormalPackages	Formal Packages	Enables scripting integration with Portal. This is a legacy setting and it is disabled by default. If the ProjectRepository feature toggle is disabled, this feature toggle is enabled.
MatchIgnoreDate	Option to ignore dates during matching	When enabled, tenant administrators can configure the document matching process to ignore dates.
LookupValueCreation	Create missing lookup values when document is sent from Meridian	When project copies or documents are sent from PowerWeb to Portal with properties that do not exist in Portal, the properties will be added to the appropriate lookup list.
UseMasterDocNrFromMeridian	Use Master Document Number from Meridian	Use the Master Document Number from PowerWeb if the format matches the current sequence definition in Tenant Settings.
AllowDocumentNumberWithoutSequence	Allow Document Number Without Sequence	Enables the use of automated document number syntax without a sequence number.

LandingPageHideLinks	Hide Landing Page Links	Removes the option "Mobile", "Analytics" and Desktop client links from landing page for all users except the tenant administrator.
2020_Q2_CMMSWorkOrderSync	Accruent Work order synchronization	This toggle enables automatic work order synchronization between Meridian and other selected Accruent products. Relevant when customer has integration with Maintenance Connection, 360Facility/FAMIS Cloud, or vx Maintain. This is enabled on a per-tenant basis as it depends upon the integration you have enabled.

Cloud Explorer

IntroToNewExplorer	Enable MT Explorer	Enables Cloud Explorer and shows a link on the landing page to access and use Cloud Explorer.
UseNewExplorerAsDefault	Use New Explorer	Sets the Cloud Explorer as the default Explorer client. This feature toggle also controls which Explorer URL is used by the Hamburger menu in the upper-left corner of the screen. You must enable the IntroToNewExplorer feature toggle before you can enable this feature toggle.
HideClassicExplorer	Hide Classic Explorer	Hides the legacy / classic Explorer. Only the Cloud Explorer is available. You must enable the IntroToNewExplorer and UseNewExplorerAsDefault feature toggles before you can enable this feature toggle.
AssetSyncMTExplorer	Asset Synchronization for MT Explorer	Enables Meridian Cloud Business tenants to synchronize assets from the Meridian EDM Server to the multi-tenant Asset Service in Cloud Explorer. The IntroToNewExplorer feature toggle is a prerequisite to enable this feature toggle.
DocumentSyncMTExplorer	Document synchronization MT Explorer	Enables Meridian Cloud Business tenants to synchronize Master Documents and Generic Documents for the Meridian EDM Server to the multi-tenant Document Service in Cloud Explorer. The IntroToNewExplorer feature toggle is a prerequisite to enable this feature toggle.

LifeScience_TestReportAvailability	Enable test reports generation	Enables the ability to generate test report data for tenant.
EnableWorkflowLockdown	Workflow Lockdown	Prevents shortcuts in Facility and Transmission workflows. Prevents editing properties for when not Under Change. Prevents Quick Change for Released and Unchanged documents. Learn more about Workflow Lockdown.
