Configuration Import and Export

You can import and export your tenancy configuration options. This is useful if you have a test tenancy and want to import your configuration settings to a production tenancy, or if you have multiple production tenancies.

To perform the tasks described on this page, you must be assigned to the Tenant Administrator role.

This functionality imports and exports configuration settings to and from a configuration file. It includes the following settings, in bulk:

When you import configuration settings to your tenancy, the import handles your items in this way:

  • New items are added.

  • Updated items are changed.

  • Unaffected items are not changed.

If you try to import settings that are already in the destination tenancy, the import does not occur, and the system generates an error report.
