Error “There are no licenses available for AutoVue Pro 2D Viewer”
Background
Meridian Enterprise integrates with the Oracle AutoVue viewer installed as either a client/server or a desktop deployment. Starting with release 2017 SP1, using the Meridian clients no longer claim AutoVue licenses from the Accruent License Server. AutoVue licenses are still required by the AutoVue software and must be purchased from Oracle. For more information, see the AutoVue 3D FAQ.
Description
An issue has been found in Meridian Enterprise 2018 that can cause licenses to be claimed by the Accruent License Server (if licenses are installed) or the error “There are no licenses available for AutoVue 2D Pro Viewer” if no licenses are installed. The issue can occur when attempting to view documents in PowerWeb if AutoVue is installed as a client/server deployment only.
A server patch named JVueIntegration.zip has been released that resolves this issue. The patch can be downloaded from our support site. Installation instructions are included in the file Readme.txt in the archive file.
All customers with Meridian Enterprise 2018 that use AutoVue in a client/server deployment should install the patch. The solution will be included in Meridian Enterprise 2018 R2.
