Accruent Meridian Enterprise 2023 Release Notes

When a user browses to a Meridian client but does not have an account in Enterprise Server, an account was automatically created. As result, the user could enter the client and a license is claimed.

As this is not always desired, we implemented an option to disable automatic creation of a Meridian account when a user browses to a Meridian client. If this option is enabled and the user does not have an account, a page appears saying that the user has no access.

Some users were getting an issue that caused TOC layouts to be distorted during synchronization. As a workaround, you can configure the new SkipToC registry value so that the synchronization skips the TOC.

If you click a folder or navigation level that contains a number of items larger than a pre-configured limit, instead of listing the items, a pane appears with the following options: Search by name and Quick Search.

For navigation views, this feature doesn't consider the selected level. This as a limitation that will be addressed in a future release.

If you select a document and the number of incoming or outgoing references is larger than the number for the pre-configured limit, only that number of references appear. In this case, a message appears saying that there are too many references.

The reason for these limitations is that showing a large number of items might affect performance. The default limit number is 3000. This number is defined by the MaxItemsInList value.

You can now rename a Static Collection in PowerWeb.

We included new registry key settings to configure Site Cache Client connection retries. The ConnectionRetries value controls the maximum number of retries. The ConnectionRetryInterval value controls the time interval between retries. The LogDetails value controls the recording of retries in the log.

This update applies to the following case: you are logged into PowerWeb, a default domain name is configured for an electronic signature, a workflow is configured with e-signature on a transition , you are not in the default domain for your e-signature, and you have a document selected. Now if you execute the workflow transition with the e-signature in these conditions, you don't need to include the domain name in your user name.

We fixed an issue that caused the User Name field to be disabled sometimes when authentication is configured to use the Site Cache Client. This field is now always editable.

In PowerWeb, when you select a batch of documents to download a PDF rendition for printing, the renditions are now added to a PDF Portfolio. If print stamps are configured for the documents, they are added to the PDF Portfolio.

We renamed the Print Renditions option in PowerWeb to Download for Print. Use this option to download a batch of renditions for printing.

When downloading a batch of documents, the source files and their CAD references are now added to a .zip archive.

You can now view renditions using a Site Cache server that is in a different domain from the one of the WebAccess server.

Users with the Repository Administrator and Application Administrator privileges can now delete packages created by other users. This feature can be used to delete packages created by people who left the company.

If you have an Autodesk document file (such as .iam or .dwg) available in the vault and open the vault in a Windows 11 workstation, when you download the document using Site Cache mode, the Windows dialog to select the application to open the document with doesn't appear. As a workaround, you can download the document to the LWS folder and open it from there.
