BCRepository Constructor (String, String, String, String)

Initializes a new instance of the BCRepository class. Connects to the server and opens a vault for reading or writing. Connection is closed when the instance is disposed.

Parameters

vaultOrDataStoreName
Type: SystemString
The name of the vault or data store. If or an empty string, then the default vault will be opened.
machineName
Type: SystemString
The name of the server machine. If or an empty string, then a local machine is used.
baselineID
Type: SystemString
The ID property value of the baseline at which to open the vault in History mode. If or an empty string, then the vault will be opened at the present time.
workAreaID
Type: SystemString
The ID property value of the work area. If or an empty string, then the vault will be opened in the context of the main area.
Remarks
Method starts a database transaction. To save changes to the vault, use the Commit method. To revoke changes, use the Rollback method.
