Meridian Introduction

Meridian is an Engineering Document Management System (EDMS) solution that enables your organization to manage technical documents and drawings throughout their lifecycle. Meridian provides a centralized repository for storing, organizing, and controlling access to engineering documentation, and supports compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements by maintaining a single source of truth for all engineering documents. It enables efficient document revision and workflow management, facilitates collaboration among teams, and integrates with other enterprise systems.

Meridian Enterprise Server (On Premises)

Meridian Enterprise Server is an on-premises product suite that includes:

  • PowerWeb / PowerUser: Creates and modify engineering data.

  • Explorer: Searches and retrieves engineering information.

  • Configurator: Customizes document types, workflow, roles, and other organizational procedures.

  • Administrator: Manages users, licenses, and vaults.

  • Administration Console: Manages users, licenses, jobs, repositories, and other settings.

Meridian Cloud

Meridian Cloud is a cloud-based product suite managed by Accruent and hosted on Microsoft Azure data centers. Meridian Cloud is available in three subscription levels:

  1. Meridian Cloud Project for engineering collaboration with external users.

  2. Meridian Cloud Business for engineering data and asset information management.

  3. Meridian Cloud for Life Sciences for compliance with life sciences regulations.

The Meridian Cloud product suite may include:

  • Power: Creates and modify engineering data.

  • Cloud Explorer / Classic Explorer: Searches and retrieves engineering information.

  • Portal: Facilitates collaboration on engineering projects with external users.

  • APIs: Enables integrations with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Geospatial Information Systems (GIS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Enterprise Application Management (EAM) systems. The API is capable of creating and updating assets in Meridian and relationships between assets and documents, and generating a URL to a list of documents related to an asset.

Meridian Mobile

Meridian Mobile is an application for iOS, Android, and Windows that provides users access to asset data on the move.
