Monthly Patch Process for Meridian Cloud

As part of our continuous dedication to security and reliability, we are enabling the monthly patching of Meridian Cloud starting from February 2023.

Patch Tuesday

Patch Tuesday is the commonly known name for Microsoft's Update Tuesday, which is when Microsoft rolls out patch updates to improve the security of its applications.

Patch Tuesday occurs on the second Tuesday of each month. The deployment of patch updates for other third-party applications, such as Adobe and Mozilla, coincides with Patch Tuesday.

Patch Process Schedule

The patch process for Meridian Cloud virtual machines (VMs) occurs monthly, according to the following schedule:

Internal VMs: 1st Friday after Patch Tuesday
Not for Production VMs: 2nd Friday after Patch Tuesday
Production (US) and Production (EU) VMs: 3rd Friday after Patch Tuesday

The following are the maintenance windows, according to the VM location:

US: 02:00 AM CT to 06:00 AM CT / 09:00 AM CET to 01:00 PM CET
EU: 08:00 PM CET to 12:00 AM CET / 01:00 PM CT to 5:00 PM CT
