Rendition Does Not Update

Some users might face a failure of the rendition job. In the queue of the Meridian Enterprise Administration Console, the operation log shows error information for the used rendition engine. The following are examples of these errors:

  • The “AutoVueRenderer.exe” tool failed (error code – 1073740777)

  • Could not find the file C:\Users\[NameOfMeridianServiceAccount]\AppData\Local\Temp\BCTemp\[NameOfRenditionJob]\[NameOfRenderingEngine]\[FileName].pdf.

  • An error occurred during rendering by “AutoVue DD for US” (Oracle Autovue 2D): Could not find the file C:\Users\ServiceBluecielo\AppData\Local\Temp\BCTemp\RenditionJob1\AutoVueDDRender\TestDocument.pdf.

The main symptom is that the viewer in PowerUser client or in PowerWeb does not load the document source and its rendition. The PowerWeb interface might refresh continually when you try to view a drawing.

A corrupted document in the vault causes this issue.

To solve this issue:

  1. Ensure the Print Spooler service is running.

  2. Save the original document again. Use the same application used to create it.

  3. In the vault, replace the corrupted document with a valid version of the document.
