PowerUser: License release due to inactivity not working correctly
In some Meridian environments on Windows 10 64-bit workstations, the Database Connection License may not be released after the inactivity period defined in the MinutesToSleep key has elapsed.
Solution
To resolve this issue:
-
Open the Windows Registry editor.
-
Remove the MinutesToSleep key from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Cyco\AutoManager Meridian\CurrentVersion\Client.
-
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cyco\AutoManager Meridian\CurrentVersion\Client.
-
Create a DWORD-type key with name MinutesToSleep.
-
Set the value you would like to use for user inactivity time in PowerUser.
For test purposes, set the value to 2 (minutes).
-
Minimize PowerUser and leave it inactive for 2 minutes.
A message will appear after 2 minutes, asking whether you want to keep working.
