How to enable Inventor Viewer in PowerUser and PowerWeb

To enable the Inventor Viewer in in PowerUser and PowerWeb:

1. In a workstation which has Inventor installed, navigate to This PC > Advanced system settings > Environment Variables > Path

2. 1. Add the two environment variables bellow:

   C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor View 2016\Bin\Bin32

   C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor View 2016\Bin

3. Follow the additional steps bellow:

   • For PowerUser, open PowerUser 64bits.

   • For PowerWeb:

     1. In Internet Explorer 64-bit, open Internet Options.

     2. Click the Security tab.

     3. Select the Enable Protected Mode option.

     4. Click the Advanced tab.

     5. In the Security group, select the Enable Enhanced Protected Mode option.

     6. In preferences, select ActiveX compatibility mode.

     7. Find the following environment variable:

        HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN

     8. Set the variable to "TabProcGrowth"=dword:00000000
