Starting with release 2014, the Microstation rendering module that is included in BlueCielo Publisher is powered by the Teigha software development platform from the Open Design Alliance.
Description
Prior versions of the rendering module were powered by Microstation itself installed on the rendering computer. Bentley Systems changed its End User License Agreement and one of the terms prohibits running Microstation in an automated way such as the rendering module. The Open Design Alliance places no such restrictions on the use of its software. BlueCielo ECM Solutions designs its products in ways that support the license agreements of third-party software developers and assists customers in complying with those agreements.Some of the previous options in the rendering module are no longer supported and some new options are available. We recommend that our customers review the settings and evaluate the output of this module before upgrading to this release in a production environment.
