Custom properties are only exported if they are enabled for scripting
Background
A vault's configuration can be exported with Configurator to a file as a backup or for importing into another vault. The exported configuration file should contain all of the information necessary to re-create the vault's configuration.
Description
Custom properties defined in the Configurator can be used in VBScript expressions if the Enable for scripting option is checked as shown in the following figure. An issue has been discovered that prevents some custom properties from being exported if the Enable for scripting option is disabled. If the configuration file is imported back into the original vault, the properties are not available. This issue applies only to property sets other than the Custom property set. Properties in the Custom property set are always exported as expected.
BlueCielo is working on a resolution to this issue that will be made available as a future hotfix or in a future release. Until then, we recommend that the Enable for scripting option be enabled for all properties in custom property sets other than the Custom property set prior to exporting the vault's configuration. This will cause the properties to be exported as expected.
