Meridian unavailable after restarting the server
When one or more servers are restarted, EDM and the database take longer than the Enterprise Server to become available. The Enterprise Server tries to connect to these two resources and fails.
Solution
In most cases, the EDM service is set to Automatic in Services in the Windows Computer Management console, but it will not be running. In this case, start the EDM service.
Additionally, to avoid the problem, we recommend accessing Services in the Windows Computer Management console and setting the Enterprise Server service to Automatic (Delayed Start). In this way, the service will start with a delay, providing time for the other resources to become available.
