Meridian Enterprise 2020 R2 Update 1
We do not recommend that you install these updates proactively because if they are not installed correctly, they can cause issues. We only recommend that you install updates to resolve known problems that users are actively experiencing.
Read the readme files included in the archive file before installing updates. These contain mandatory installation instructions.
Improvements and issues fixed
This update has the following limitations and requirements:
- May only be installed as an update to Meridian Enterprise 2020 R2, not as a new installation.
- May be installed only on the server, only on the client PCs, or on both.
- Does not require access to the Meridian Enterprise 2020 installation package files.
- Is for all Meridian Enterprise servers regardless of the license level Base, Standard, or Plus.
- Includes the Meridian Enterprise 2020 R2 client components that are also required on the server. The separate workstation update does not need to be installed on the servers.

Installation
This update consists of the following Windows setup programs:
BC-Meridian Server Update 2020R2.1.1.exe
BC-Meridian Workstation (x64) Update 2020R2.1.1.msp
BC-Meridian Workstation (x86) Update 2020R2.1.1.msp
To install this update:
- Download the archive file above to a temporary location and extract the setup programs.
- Ensure that no users are connected to any vaults on the server before or during installation.
- Stop Application Integration (AMHookTray.exe and/or AMHookTrayU.exe) if either are running on the server.
If installing the update causes new problems, notify Accruent Technical Support or your Accruent Partner.
If error 1328 occurs during update installation, the original installation has been modified and it must be uninstalled and reinstalled before the update will succeed.
64-bit Microstation link files are not updated in Microstation folder.
