Meridian Enterprise 2016.1.3 server update

Background

Meridian Enterprise 2016.1.3S is an incremental update for Meridian Enterprise 2016 Service Pack 1. It includes important fixes that have been made since the general release of Meridian Enterprise 2016 Service Pack 1 in June, 2016.

Description

This update:

  • Includes all prior server updates.
  • Can only be installed on Meridian Enterprise 2016 SP1.
  • Can be installed only on the server, not on the client PCs.
  • Includes the Meridian Enterprise 2016.1.2 update client components that are also installed on the server. The separate workstation update does not need to be installed on the servers.
  • Does not require access to the Meridian Enterprise 2016 installation package files.
  • Is for all Meridian Enterprise servers regardless of the license level Base, Standard, or Plus.
  • Includes all resolved issues from prior updates, which are listed in Meridian Enterprise 2016 minor releases and updates.

License Server MRE-4075 Simultaneous license requests could cause the license server to stop responding and are now handled correctly.
Enterprise Server MRE-4096 AutoVue redline text entities are now rendered correctly.
Enterprise Server MRE-4190 An issues with forms authentication for the iPad app has been fixed.

Download

The compressed archive file can be downloaded from our support site. The file includes the Meridian Enterprise 2016.1.2 workstation update, which is recommended but not required.

The password to extract the contents of the archive file is Update3.

Installation

This update consists of the following Windows setup program:

BC-Meridian Server Update 2016.1.3.exe

To install this update:

  1. Download the archive file from the link above to a temporary location and extract the setup programs.
  2. Ensure that no users are connected to any vaults on the server before or during installation.
  3. Run the setup program on the server and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. If installing the update causes new problems, notify Accruent, LLC Technical Support or your Accruent Partner.
Note:

If error 1328 occurs during update installation, the original installation has been modified and it must be uninstalled and reinstalled before the update will succeed.
