Meridian Enterprise 2015.0.1 server update

Background

Meridian Enterprise 2015.0.1S is an incremental server update for Meridian Enterprise 2015. It includes important stability, license server, and usability fixes that have been made since the general release of Meridian Enterprise 2015 in July, 2015. Description

This update:

• Is included in and has been superseded by Meridian Enterprise 2015.0.2 server update.
• Is for all Meridian Enterprise servers regardless of the license level Base, Standard, or Plus.
• Is for Meridian Enterprise servers only, not dedicated Meridian Explorer servers or Publisher cluster node servers.
• Can only be installed on an existing Meridian Enterprise 2015 server installation.
• Does not include a workstation update.
• Is compatible with Meridian Enterprise 2015 client PCs that have not been updated.
• Does not require access to the Meridian Enterprise 2015 installation package files.

This update includes the following improvements to existing functionality.

EDM Server	MRE-1227	Fixes a rare condition that causes an Unexpected error in database engine ; Cannot write to the log file error.
EDM Server	MRE-102	A rare issue that could cause Windows Search to crash when indexing a file has been resolved.
EDM Server	MRE-1436	Adobe PDF rendition content is now added to the full-text index for searches if the Adobe PDF IFilter is installed on the Meridian Enterprise server and the BCRenditionPropertySet._Format property of the source document is set to PDF.
EDM Server	MRE-1449	Shared workspace options can now be modified after creating a new folder type with the Can be used a shared workspace option enabled. The options could not be modified in vaults served by the Hypertrieve 5 database engine with multi-threading disabled until after the EDM Server service was restarted.
License Server	MRE-1272	Event information generated by the Accruent License Server is now logged in the Admin, Operational, and Debug channels of the Accruent-LicenseServer log in the Applications and Services Logs folder. To see the Debug channel, enable the Show Analytic and Debug Logs option be enabled on the View menu.
License Server	MRE-1626	Prevents Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request after restarting the Accruent License Server service if it was installed for a language other than English.
License Server	MRE-1403	The Accruent License Server service no longer fails to restart after a trial license has expired.
License Server	MRE-1466	Prevents Failed to read license database file (13) errors and possible license data corruption when the Accruent License Server service restarts or fails to restart.
License Server	MRE-1474	Running the Meridian installation package to modify the configuration no longer unregisters the Accruent License Server service.
License Server	MRE-1431	License restriction settings are now correctly applied to users that are not members of a group specified in the settings.
Web Access	MRE-1388	Fixed some conditions under which the asset management property pages would not appear in the Meridian Web Client.
