Issues with loading the Inventor 2024 add-in

The Meridian add-in fails to load correctly when in use with Inventor 2024.

As a workaround, follow the instructions below.

Note:

You need to be a local administrator to perform these steps.

  1. Open the file in the following location for edit: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Inventor 2024\Addins\Meridian.Integration.Inventor.

  2. Find the following line:

    <Assembly>AMInventor.dll</Assembly>

  3. Replace it with this text:

    <Assembly>C:\Program Files\BC-Meridian\Program\AMInventor.dll</Assembly>

  4. Save the file.

  5. Open Inventor 2024.

  6. Check if the Meridian add-in appears as loaded. If not, try to load it from the Add-in Manager.
