Error “Invalid arguments” when executing commands from the ribbon menu

This error can occur in PowerWeb when you try to execute one of the following commands from the ribbon menu:

  • Delete document

  • Undelete document

  • Change Document Type

  • Create Project Copy

  • Create Project Copy and Lock

  • Create Project Copy with References

  • Link to Meridian Portal

  • Link to Master Document

  • Copy with References

In the context menu, the commands work as expected.

Solution

The cause for this error is a Chrome update to version 94.0.4606.54.

The patch MPS-39994 fixes this issue. To request this patch, contact Accruent Support.

Once you get the patch:

  1. Install the patch.

  2. Delete your browser cache.
