Error During Synchronization: "Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'dbo.Folder' with unique index 'IX_Folder_Name'. The duplicate key value is ..."

The following error information can appear when you run the synchronization job:

“Failed to import: C:\ProgramData\BlueCieloECM\ExplorerSync\[repository name].....dat”

The following details appear, with many unique duplicate key values:

"Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'dbo.Folder' with unique index 'IX_Folder_Name'. The duplicate key value is …”.

Solution

The tool " tool.MPS-16946" fixes this issue. Open a support case describing the issue and requesting the tool. Once you get the tool:

  1. Run the tool.

    The results will contain the problematic rows.

  2. Navigate to the repository in:

    C:\ProgramData\BlueCieloECM\ExplorerSync\[repository name]

    Delete all .dat + baseline files.

  3. In Meridian Enterprise Server Administration Console, in the REPOSITORIES group, click Repositories. Click the [repository name].

  4. Click Synchronization.

  5. In Last Run, click RESET.

  6. Run the synchronization job for the repository.
