Error "Document ____ is locked by..."
Background
Meridian locks documents against simultaneous changes when they are assigned to users in a writable workflow transition (for example, Under Change). Meridian also locks documents when they are assigned to a package that will transfer documents to be changed in another system (for example, Meridian Portal). If changing the documents needs to be aborted (for example, the assigned user is unavailable or package transfer fails) the documents can be unlocked with the Unlock from Local Workspace command described in Unlock Local Workspace Documents.
Description
This error can occur in PowerWeb if the Site cache mode and the ActiveX compatibility mode options described in Setting personal preferences are both enabled. The workaround is to temporarily disable the ActiveX compatibility mode option, unlock the document, and then re-enable the option. We expect to resolve this issue in a future release.
