Deprecated features
We’ve evolved Meridian Enterprise considerably since its debut in 2000, with many new features to keep pace with our customers' needs and constantly evolving technology.
To best allocate our development and support resources, we select old Meridian Enterprise functionality for deprecation. We deprecate a feature because:
- we've developed new improved functionality to replace it
- it cannot be maintained due to obsolete technology. For example, the AMFS service was built with technology that is not supported by recent versions of Windows.
From the release date of a deprecated feature, that feature:
- Is not developed any further. Known bugs are not fixed.
- Is no longer tested with each new Meridian Enterprise release.
- Might not be supported by other features in the software and without notice.
- Might be removed from the software without notice.
- Is only supported inline with active issues according to your current support level agreement. New issues are not supported by Accruent Technical Support or Accruent Professional Services
- Can still be used, but at your own risk.
Once a feature is deprecated, we'll list it on this page.
