Crashes with Draft Print and Acrobat Reader

Background

Meridian Explorer can print source and rendition documents as described in Draft Print Documents. Adobe Reader can be configured as the default viewer for PDF documents as described in Configure the Viewer Options.

Description

Meridian Explorer or Adobe Reader might stop responding when draft printing documents if:

  • Adobe Reader is configured as the default viewer for PDF documents.
  • The Enable BlueCielo viewer control option is enabled in the user's preferences as described in Configure Personal Preferences.
  • The Adobe Reader Enable Enhanced Security option is enabled.
  • The Draft Print command is enabled as described in Configure the Application Options.
  • In the Draft Print dialog, the Print the native document option is disabled.
