Configure Prior Revision Overlay

Note:

This feature is supported for Meridian Cloud Business subscriptions only.

When this feature is enabled for a document type and a user views or prints the rendition of a document that is not the latest released revision, configurable text can be added as a watermark on the document to alert people reading the document that it is outdated. You can configure the overlay text (100 characters maximum) and its scale relative to the default font size. The text is located in the center of the document, angled 315°, and rendered in 50% transparent red 24 point Helvetica font for the default page size of A4. The font size is automatically doubled at each page size in which the page's diagonal dimension doubles, for example, 48 point for the A2 page size. If the overlay is too small for the page sizes that you use most often, you can increase the scale of the overlay.

  1. On the Meridian Portal Landing page, at the bottom of the navigation bar, click the Account Settings icon A gear symbol..

    The Account Settings page appears.

    The text becomes editable.
