Manage Pen Settings Files

Note:

This feature is supported for Meridian Cloud Business subscriptions only.

Meridian Cloud is able to automatically generate renditions of documents using standard and custom pen settings files to specify pen widths and pen colors. If your organization uses custom pen settings files, you can upload them to Meridian Cloud to enforce your drawing standards. For AutoCAD drawings, .stb and.ctb files are supported. For MicroStation drawings, .rsc and .tbl files are supported.

ClosedView Available Pen Settings Files

To view the available pen settings files:

  1. On the Meridian Portal Landing page, at the bottom of the navigation bar, click the Account Settings icon A gear symbol..

    The Account Settings page appears.

  2. In the menu, expand Rendering and then click Pen Settings.

    The Pen Settings page appears and lists the available pen settings files. Files with the type of Standard are provided by Meridian Cloud and may not be deleted.

ClosedAdd Pen Settings File

To add a pen settings file:

  1. Open the Pen Settings list as described in the preceding task.

  2. In the heading toolbar, click the Add icon A blue circle with a blue plus symbol in its center..

    The Add New Pen File dialog box appears.

  3. Click the upload icon A blue arrow pointing up from a rectangle..

    The Open file dialog box appears.

  4. Select the pen file that you want to upload and then click Open.

    The file uploads to Meridian Cloud.

  5. Click Add.

    The page refreshes to show the new file. Files that you add have the type of Custom.

ClosedDelete Pen Settings File

To delete a pen settings file:

  1. Open the Pen Settings list as described in the first task.

  2. In the row of the file that you want to delete, click the Delete icon A blue trash can..

    A dialog box opens, asking you to confirm your choice.

  3. Click Delete.

    The page refreshes to show the file has been deleted.

ClosedDownload Pen Settings File

To download a pen settings file:

  1. Open the Pen Settings list as described in the first task.

  2. In the row of the file that you want to download, click the Download icon A blue arrow pointing down to a rectangle..

    The file downloads to your browser where you can view or edit it.
