Email Settings

On this page, you can configure your email settings for Meridian Cloud. Learn how to enable document release notification emails for project types.

To perform the tasks described on this page, you must be assigned to the Tenant Administrator role.

To navigate to the Email Settings page:

  1. On the Meridian Portal Landing page, at the bottom of the navigation bar, click the Account Settings icon A gear symbol..

    The Account Settings page appears.

  2. In the menu, click E-mail Settings.

    The E-mail Settings page appears.

  3. Follow the appropriate procedures below.

ClosedConfigure Logo to Appear in Notifications

Portal scans the logo and URL you provide for malicious content. If your logo file contains a virus or the link contains malware, Portal will not accept them. An event will also be added to the audit log.

Custom logos must be a bitmap image (PNG, JPEG, JPG or GIF) of less than 1 MB and between 120 x 120 pixels and 2000 x 2000 pixels.

To configure your organization's logo to appear in notifications:

  1. Choose between two options:

    • If you want to use the default Meridian logo in your emails, leave Meridian selected.

    • If you want to use a custom logo:

      1. Select Custom.

      2. Click Select.

        The Custom logo image window opens.

      3. Choose between two options:

        1. To upload a logo from your computer:

          1. Click Choose a file.

            A file explorer window opens.

          2. Select the logo image you want to use.

          3. Proceed to step d below.

        2. To upload a logo that is stored online:

          1. Click the Web link (URL) tab.

          2. Enter the logo URL.

          3. Click Upload.

      4. Click OK.

  2. If you want users to be able to click your logo and access a hyperlink:

    1. Enter a URL in the Logo link address field.

    2. Click Set.

  3. If you want to receive a test notification using the current settings:

    1. Enter the email address you want to send the test notification to in the Email test address field.

    2. Click Send.

ClosedDisable Notifications for Mass Imports

When you import a large number of documents to PowerWeb using an import package, email notifications are sent for the documents currently in a workflow. This can cause performance issues depending upon the size of the import.

To disable notifications for mass imports:

  • Click the Disable email notification when mass importing documents toggle.
