Create Projects

Creating a new project makes a new workspace where you can share documents with other Meridian Portal users. Projects can contain packages and Quick Shares.

You must be assigned to the Tenant Administrator or Project Administrator role to perform this task.

To create a project:

  1. On the My Projects page, click A blue circle with a blue plus symbol in its center. New Project.

    The New Project dialog box appears.

  2. Click options or type values using the descriptions in the following table.

    Additional properties may be available or required.

  3. Click Create.

    Your new project is added to the list.

Project Number

Type a number to assign to the project

Project Name

Type the name of the project

Project Type

Select one of the available options:

  • Standard Project if documents in this project will be sent to Portal for revision, review, approval and returned to Meridian Enterprise as master document revisions.

  • A custom project type you created as described in Manage Project Types. This option is only available if the Project Repository feature is enabled for your Portal tenancy by Accruent.
