Detaching a part of a hybrid document separates the part and makes it an independent document.

You can only remove a part from a hybrid document that is in the Released state.

In Meridian 2021 PowerWeb, you can delete hybrid parts from locked documents if Site Cache Mode or no mode is selected. Deleting hybrid parts from locked documents does not work if ActiveX Compatibility Mode is selected.
