Group Email Notifications

Combine multiple PowerWeb notifications into a single email, keeping users informed without overwhelming their inbox. Meridian groups the notifications based on the Transmission Interval you specify in the SMTP parameters, helping users stay on top of updates in one centralized message.

To activate this functionality, go to the SMTP parameters and set the Group Emails option to True.

The Group Emails option requires email server configurations in your environment. Configure the following settings if you haven’t already:

• In Meridian Administrator:

  • Add email addresses for Meridian users.

  • Configure the mail server.

  • In the SMTP parameters:

    • Configure the Transmission Interval parameter.

    • Activate the Group Emails parameter.

• In Meridian Enterprise Server, configure the mail server.

• In Meridian Configurator:

  • Configure the Notifications table connection string.

  • Define the Notification Settings.
