View Document Thumbnails in Folder

As of the 2022 release, you can preview the contents of a folder without having to navigate into the folder. If you do not have permission to view the document, you cannot see the document's thumbnail.

To preview document contents:

1. In the Folders navigation view, select the folder you want to preview.

2. In the view bar, click the Thumbnails button .

   The Thumbnails button is only available if you have the appropriate permissions to see the contents of the folder.

   A preview pane appears. This preview pane contains thumbnails for documents and folders contained in the folder.

3. Choose between two options:

   • To open a document, click the thumbnail for the document.

   • To perform an action on the document:

     1. Right-click the thumbnail for the document.

        The context menu appears.

     2. Select the appropriate action from the context menu.
