Remove Imported Portal Packages

You can configure Enterprise Server to remove Portal import packages which have been successfully imported or closed. This functionality allows you to remove unneeded data and clear up disk space.

To configure Enterprise Server to remove imported Portal packages:

  1. In Meridian Enterprise Server Administration Console, in the System Management group, click Settings.

    The Application Settings page appears.

  2. In the Management Tools group, find the Remove imported Portal packages item.

  3. Choose between two options:

    • To remove the imported or closed packages immediately, click Run.

    • To schedule a regularly occurring task:

      1. Click Schedule.

        The Schedule dialog box appears. This dialog box requires the same input as the Windows Task Scheduler.

      2. Configure the scheduled task to run when you require and then click Schedule.

        The task is configured and will run on the schedule you set.
