The integration between PowerWeb and Portal has the option to include CAD reference for information when CAD drawings are sent to Contractors. This function is only available for MicroStation and AutoCAD references and does not apply to other CAD references, manual references, or asset references.
The preferred way to send AutoCAD and MicroStation references to Contractors in Portal is by using the option to include CAD references for information. Using this method, the AutoCAD and MicroStation references are directly copied from the Master document and references for information don't need to be copied to a project.
If reference documents also need to be updated by the Contractor, then you must create a project copy for the reference documents and send the copied reference documents to the Contractor with the purpose of For Revision.
