Rename Folder
This article describes how to rename a folder. You cannot change a folder name if it is included in a field-path definition or if any document contained in the folder is under change or locked.
PowerWeb Procedures
Use these steps for PowerWeb.
- Choose between two options:

From the ribbon:

Select the folder you want to rename.

In the Edit ribbon, in the Organize group, click Rename.
The Confirm Folder Rename dialog box displays.

From the context menu:

Navigate to the folder that you want to rename.

Right-click the folder and point to Edit > Organize > Rename.
The Confirm Folder Rename dialog box displays.

Type the new folder name in New name of the folder.

Click Yes.
The folder is renamed.
PowerUser Procedures
Use these steps for PowerUser.

Select the folder that you want to change.

Click the Edit menu in the toolbar and select Rename.
Alternatively, you can press F2 on your keyboard.
The folder name becomes editable.

Rename the folder.
-
Click off the folder or press Enter on your keyboard.
The folder is renamed.
