Redline a Document In a Comment

When you make redlines on a document in a comment, they appear only in the comment. The redlines are not saved in the source Meridian Enterprise vault.

To redline a document in a comment:

1. View the document that you want to redline as described in View Comments.

2. Choose between three options:

   • If PDFTron is configured as the viewer, mark up the document as described in Annotate a Document.

   • If Adobe Reader is configured as the viewer, use the comment tools to markup the document.

   • If Oracle AutoVue is configured as the viewer:

     1. In the viewer toolbar, click the Redline icon .

        The redline toolbars appear.

     2. Use the redline tools to mark up the document.

     3. Click the Redline icon again to save your markups.
